This place fits me perfectly, offering free wi-fi, a seasonal outdoor pool, and friendly staff. I still remember when they helped me recover my forgotten hairbrush. Highly recommend having the breakfast-so good!

The location near Kings Island is fantastic, and the garden paths are lovely for relaxing walks. Breakfast is decent, though the plates are styrofoam, and the food could be fresher. It feels a bit like a motel rather than an inn, but the staff is friendly and welcoming.

The best and worst parts
The family-owned inn offers a charming atmosphere with delicious homemade breakfast served in a historic house. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the personalized service is a delightful touch making the stay memorable.
The rooms are relatively small and the decor might feel outdated for some travelers seeking modern accommodations. Not particularly close to major attractions which could be a downside if convenience is a priority.

charming garden trail, competitive weekend rate, clean and comfortable rooms
The rooms feel cramped and have a dated vibe. The air conditioning unit is excessively loud and could definitely use an upgrade to improve the overall experience!!! More attention to room decor would enhance the atmosphere!!!

great central spot for city strolls and park adventures
I had a fantastic time exploring the nearby Fleckenstein Park, which was just about 2.5 km away, perfect for a leisurely walk, and it made it easy to visit the attractions at Kings Island since it was literally minutes away. the staff here were incredibly friendly, always ready to help, and the charming breakfast setting felt cozy and welcoming. the only concern was that while the grounds were beautiful, a few paths had low-hanging branches that required some ducking but it didn’t take away from the lovely experience overall.

Clean and well-maintained atmosphere.
The room was extremely small and cramped. The air conditioning unit was very loud, making it hard to sleep comfortably. Breakfast options were disappointing, with limited fresh fruit and low-quality store-bought sweets.

I completely enjoyed my stay at the Kirkwood Inn. The gardens were stunning and well-kept. My room was spotless and quiet, perfect for relaxation. Breakfast blew me away. it had an amazing spread with plenty of fresh options. The staff was friendly and attentive, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. I found the bed quite comfortable, which made for a good night's sleep. The only downside was the lack of an elevator. I requested a first-floor room to avoid this issue. Overall, I'd return without hesitation. it truly felt like a home away from home.
